1. Commitment to Publisher Rights

VNews respects the intellectual property, copyright, and distribution preferences of news publishers and content creators. We believe in fair, mutually respectful digital coexistence.

If you are an authorized representative of a publication, media organization, or copyright holder, we provide clear and immediate mechanisms to request content removal or permanent exclusion from our ingestion pipeline.

2. Available Removal & Takedown Options

Authorized representatives may request any of the following remedies:

1. Full Publisher Feed Suppression: Permanent exclusion of your domain or RSS feeds from our ingestion systems. Once suppressed (`suppressed_at`), our automated pipeline will immediately cease monitoring, extracting, clustering, or referencing your content.

2. Specific Article / Brief Removal: Immediate unpublishing or deletion of an individual AI brief or source reference.

3. Media & Image Removal: Immediate detachment and deletion of any media asset or thumbnail referencing your publication.

4. Attribution or Linking Correction: Modifying how your publication name, logo, or canonical URL is presented.

3. How to Submit a Takedown Request

To ensure swift processing, please submit takedown or removal requests by email or through our online intake form:

  • Email: Send your request directly to vcontentplatforms@gmail.com with the subject line: "Publisher Takedown Request - [Your Publication Name]".
  • Required Details:
  • Your full legal name and professional title.
  • The name of the publication, organization, or copyright owner you represent.
  • Verifiable contact details (preferably an email address associated with the publication's official domain).
  • The specific URL(s) on VNews (https://vhubs.site/vnews) where the content appears.
  • The specific remedy requested (e.g., specific article removal, image detachment, or full domain suppression).
  • A brief statement confirming that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright holder or publisher.

4. Processing & Resolution Workflow

  • Prompt Intake: Takedown requests are routed directly to the operator's administrative desk upon receipt.
  • Immediate Suppression: When full feed exclusion is requested, the corresponding source record is flagged as `suppressed_at = now()`, automatically halting ingestion and preventing any future story clustering.
  • Content Unpublishing: Requested articles are unpublished or deleted from our active database.
  • Confirmation: We send a written confirmation to the requester once the action has been completed.
